- We commend the hostel for a well run establishment, where travellers can interact.
Special thanks for your advertised “tour of the Hermitage” and specially - Maria and her professional, yet friendly guidance through the Hermitage.

- We highly recommend Maria’s guided tour around the Hermitage. As the palace is so large it is easy to waste time deciding where to go and how best to see it.
Maria explained the layout of the building as we approached it. She then took us through all the wonderful state rooms telling us about historical events and showed us paintings and articles of particular interest. Our group was small and we could ask questions and move around the gallery to view things that we would definitely have missed if we had gone on our own. The morning was fun and very informative and a most excellent introduction to the Hermitage.

- “On my first private visit to Russia, my first to St Petersburg, it has been my great fortune to have engaged Maria as travel adviser and guide both individually and as a member of a small group. ... Indeed, it is because of Maria’s knowledge and her considerable skill at passing on her enthusiasm for her country and city that St Petersburg quickly has become one of my favourite destinations.”

Dear Maria!
Meeting you was the highlight of our visit and how we missed you in Moscow!
Thank you so much for showing us around your gorgeous city - it's not hard to see why you love it so much and that enthusiasm comes out in your tours. For me, the best was the visit to the Russian Museum and I am wondering why Russian Art isn't better travelled.
Good luck with your tours - with your enthusiasm and knowledge, you deserve to do well.
All the best,

Dear Maria,
Your passion for St Petersburg is infectious and the many different and out of the way avenues your encouraged us to explore made all the difference to our stay in St Petersburg.
You were able to convey your vast knowledge about St Petersburg's rich history in a way that was really entertaining and made our tours with you so interesting and meaningful.
Thank you for making us feel so welcome in your home city.
Best of luck for the future!

I was lucky enough to go with Maria to a place not usually visited by tourists, the 'Lenin museum'. The museam is interesting, not only because it shows how people lived back then, but also because it kind of transports you back to a very significant moment in Russia's turbulant history. From this I was able to branch out, asking questions, and start to get my head around the who, why and what of those times. Maria was the perfect person to deal with my berrage of questions, she is very knowledgable, and I found her to be very pleasant not only as a tour guide but as a person in general. Thanks a lot Maria! And I hope to see you again if I ever come back that way.
All the best,

Dear Maria,
I had a great time on your tour. You are a gifted guide, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun! I'm going to suggest to my friends back home that next time they are in St. Petersburg they get in touch with you and take whatever tours you've got going.
Warm regards,
